Our History

Est. 1986

In 1986, with a dream and lots of paint,

two wonderful women, Lori McIntyre and Debbie Gasbarro, fixed up an old repair shop on Canada Street in Red Creek and opened

The Danse Shoppe.

For thirty-one seasons, these women worked tirelessly to create a place not just for dancing and exploring creativity,

but also a place that has become

a harbor of joy, hope & love.

In 2017 sisters Vanessa Neal and Nathali Neal, (also former Danse Shoppe students) became the new owners of The Danse Shoppe. We have vowed to carry out its legacy of supporting the youth in our community.  With Cayla Cannova as a devoted and uplifting teacher, we have all worked together to fill our new space at

6930 Main Street, Red Creek.

Our Philosophy

Our passion is to instill the love of dance in all our students and to make dance accessible to all members of our community. We encourage our students to work hard, have fun and express themselves through the art of dance!

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower our students to have faith in themselves, enabling them to pursue their goals with confidence!

The Danse Shoppe offers a wide variety of classes for school age children as well as adults.

For our school age classes, The Danse Shoppe holds an annual recital production at the

Red Creek High School.
